Meet Our Providers

Amanda is a native of the Pineville area and a graduate of Pineville High School as well as Louisiana College. She began her nursing career as a RN in 2001 at Rapides Women's & Children's Hospital pediatric unit. She obtained a Master's Degree in Nursing as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2012 from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She worked full time as a nurse practitioner on pediatrics/PICU at Rapides Women's & Children's Hospital from 2012-2016 and still fills in as needed. She obtained a second Master's Degree in Nursing as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2016 from University of Alabama at Birmingham and has 8 years of primary care clinic experience. She has worked in the field of pediatrics for more than 21 years.

Heather is a native of the Alexandria area. She graduated from Alexandria Senior High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeast Louisiana University and started her career as a RN at Rapides Regional Medical Center in 1998. She went on to earn a Master's Degree in Nursing at Northwestern State University with a concentration in Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2007. She worked full time at a pediatric primary care clinic and part time at Rapides Women's & Children's Hospital as a nurse practitioner. In 2011, she earned a Post Master's Certificate in Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has a total of 23 years experience in the field of pediatrics and 15 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
